My name's Paul Frields, and I've been a musician for over 40 years and played bass as my main instrument for about 30. I've gigged regularly as part of bands playing roots rock, singer/songwriter, folk-rock, variety covers, soul, and R&B. I love playing in the pocket and I sing backup. I'm interested in hearing from ANYONE who is looking to play, record, create, or collaborate. I'm also good with technology, so collaborating at a distance is quite easy for me. Here are some things I may be able to help you with:

* Recording and sending you tracks remotely, especially for bass, but also keyboards, rhythm guitar, etc.
* Helping you understand how to get better recordings.
* Mixing something you've recorded.
* Sweetening some of your songs by adding different synthesizers or re-amping.

My studio is based around Mac M1 running Pro Tools, 16 channels of input along with several MIDI controllers available for input and performance (KeyLab 88 MkII, KeyStep Pro, Axiom 25, Motör 61), FaderPort, multiple microphones including Slate ML-1 for vintage modeling; Adam A7x and Slate VSX for monitoring/mixing.
