Hey! I am a lead singer that just relocated to the Traverse area. Had to leave my old band behind, and I am looking to form or join a band up here. I am not looking to quit my day job or make a fortune doing this. I do it because I enjoy singing and entertaining people-that is the motivation, and I am seeking a like-minded situation.
I would be interested in gigs about 2-4 times per month, preferring private functions, fundraisers, festivals etc. to smoky bars every night, but am comfortable with just about anything except strictly wedding bands.
I am a classic rock and blues singer mostly-also some 80's and 90's stuff. Love good harmonies, can play the tambourine and basic percussion stuff.

My vocal aspirations and influences are Bonnie Raitt, Grace Slick, Linda Ronstadt, Chrissie Hynde, Blondie, Eva Cassidy, . I sing everything from Van Morrison to Fleetwood Mac, Natalie Merchant, Sheryl Crow, Joe Cocker, on and on. I have an extensive song list and several recorded tracks.
