lead vocalist/ lyricist looking for a versatile group to form a band with. Am thirty-seven and think it's time to follow my heart and my talents.started in the biz when I was still in high school, but put things on hold when I got married. now none of that applies anymore and I am seeking to return to the artform I love the most. I write a little of everything, so I am very veratile. am also willing to learn how to play other instruments. will relocate, but would rather the band relocate to me right now due to family reasons. also getting ready (have the money to put down for first studio session, plus enough to pay band)to go into the studio to record promo demo of songs which already have music, but need polishing.
My ideal setting is people I can get along with. people who are open to new ideas musically. I will do cover tunes but do not want to make it my career. I write lyrics and wish to bring back the classic rock/classic metal sounds, but meld them with different world styles ( Flamenco, Cajun Dancehall, Zydeco, etc.) and see what results from it. Am just getting back into the business after putting things on hold for marriages that didn't work. want to make a splash and there is also a possibility of this leading to TV and also a fulltime gig. more than one band would be more than welcome.
