ABOUT

REGARDING ACOUSTIC MUSIC:
I have performed as a solo as well as with duos, and trios.

Currently with the acoustic trio Dad Burn It, we perform songs of substance with roots in Bluegrass, Swing, Blues, Folk Rock, Old School Country, Western Folk and Eclectic Desert Cowboy Music.

Through original and classic songs, well seasoned flat picker Mark Merryman and accomplished fingerpicker Bill Burnside combine their styles to create interesting musical backdrop for their individual and combined lyric delivery.

Both artists are recognized for their ability to turn a phrase and create entertaining anecdotes that capture the multidimensional aspects of life in the west; songs inspired by journeys along the fringes of civilization.

CURRENTLY we would like to audition upright bass players that can sing harmony well.
