Mature, married, employed, educated with good transportation who is seeking a position with an existing or possibly start up rock band. I've done studio work but prefer live gigs whenever possible. Traveling to practices is not a problem! I love to practice and work hard. Equally important is the mix of personalities. I'm easy going and focus on the groove/beat of the song. I want to play and have fun! Can also put in some bkgrnd vocals.

Good, solid, in-the-pocket drumming from bands such as the Doobie Bros, Styx, Skynyrd, REO Speedwagon, Grand Funk, Deep Purple, Boston, Kansas, Steely Dan thru artists like SRV, Chris Duarte, Creed, Maroon 5 and many others. My style is that of Don Brewer of Grand Funk & Todd Zuckerman of Styx. There's a time and place for fills and solos; they have to fit the song(s) and overall feel of the band. I can do them and will if/when it fits.

Equipment List:

Two nice show kits: a 9-piece set of Pearl CZX Studios (red), w/ a full Pearl rack, TAMA double bass pedal, 8 Zildgian cymbals, all mics, cables, monitors and an all black 6 piece Pearl Export kit for normal stage use. I have 2 JBL JR 225 speakers w/ 2 15s and a horn each, a 800w in to 4 ohms Crown amp and a powered Behringer 12 channel board as a PA as well as 8- 300 watt Par56 spots on 2 "T" racks. Everyting is in EXcellent condition and adds great stage presence. Have large indoor practice space w/ deck for breaks but do not mind travelling for practices either. I'll be your most dedicated member. It's all part of it!
