I am an old rock and roll dog and have played rock, country and Contempoary Christian. I am seeking musicians to form a band in the Greenville area playing folk, country, alternative rock or some combination. The ideal band will consist of an acoustic guitar and perhaps a keyboard and a vocalist front person. The ideal vocalist will be female with a "distinctive" voice and stage presence. (If you have it - you know it.) I especially enjoy the music of Heather Myles, KT Tunstall, Janis Joplin, Jennifer Nettles (of Sugarland). Not looking for a copy cat of these fine vocalists, but someone with a unique sound of their own.

Ultimately, original music is in the plans and I envision playing small venues in the area.

I am just getting back into the music world so I have no cantacts. I am a good, solid utility bass player.
