ABOUT
Currently I am kind of on hiatus. I left a gigging ($$) party/dance-rock cover band that had a consistent schedule booked up to 6 months in advance. I play both guitar and bass, and have played both for over 30 years, although in bands I am typically a bass player. Prior to this latest band, with whom I played for about 3 years, I was in almost exclusively original bands and so it was a nice change for me (although I do miss the creative side of the original bands).

Influences
As a bassist, big time influences were Flea, Les Claypool, all of James Brown's bassists (there have been a lot of them), Cliff Burton (he's the reason I play), and Geezer Butler.
As a guitarist, my major influences are Randy Rhoads, John Frusciante, Vernon Reid, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Carlos Santana, Terry Kath, Robert Cray, Tony Iommi, and others. Don't get the idea I can play like Vai or Rhoads, but Vai, Satch and Rhoads had great influence on me in their creativity.

EQUIPMENT
Main basses: 5 string EBMM Stingray, 5 string Ibanez fretless Soundgear (unknown model, but very awesome), others.
Main guitars: Fender Stratocaster, Carruthers Super Strat, ESP EII 7 string, Cordoba Fusion Rose nylon string, PRS SE Korina Singlecut and others that come and go.
