Hey,
My name is Mike and I'm looking to put together a band here in summit county. I'm 29, and I've been playing guitar and singing for about 9 years now, and I have some pretty good experience playing the local scene here in summit. For a couple years I had a regular weekend gig at McGillicuddy's (an Irish pub at Copper Mt.) and then also at Wild Bill's Saloon in Dillon. I have performed at the Gold Pan, the Moose Jaw, Endo's & Jack's (at Copper) the Dillon Dam Brewery, the Island Grill (in Frisco), and some other small venues. At any rate, I am looking to take my musical career in a new and exciting direction and after performing for years as a solo musician, I would like to connect with some fellow musicians here in summit county. I have limited practice space of my own, but I do have a decent PA that can be used for gigs.
I should be very clear from the beginning that I am a singer/songwriter and I am looking for a band to help me develop my original music, while still being open to playing some great cover tunes.

The tracks on my page have all been recorded in my bedroom on a cheap digital recorder, so keep in mind that the recordings are very raw and unpolished, but all of the instruments and singing are my own and the music is 100% my own creation. Be sure to read the lyrics of my songs as you listen along- they are certainly a big part of the message in my music.
