We are looking to fill member positions for FEMALE VOCALS AND BASS GUITAR!
We also need on call Fill-ins/Subs for all instruments.

This is a great opportunity for a good musician to be part of a long term project with perks! The band is a democracy, we vote on most decisions! As a member you are required to pay nothing out of pocket, management pays it all. Management gets paid when we play shows! The owner/manager has a lot invested in this band! We have management, money to back us, tons of gear, pro sound techs that have worked with national acts, a pro recording studio at our disposal, pro photography and video equip, website, full advertising and promotion and a leg in on the music contacts.

Sunset Eve is a fun but serious band!

The band is run like a business. We are a legit above board corporation registered with the state.

DISCLAIMER:The statement below is not meant to be seem impersonal but to let you know what your getting into. We don't want to waste your time.

The goal of the band is to be the best in Florida! Play top notch venues, Disney, Universal, Corporate, Festivals and Fairs, weddings and private parties etc. We average now about $2,000 per show. The music comes first to us above the money. We don't want someone that is in it for the money or needs the money to survive! We want members that can put the time into perfecting our sound and just love to play. Five part harmony takes time to polish! This is a long term band that will be here in ten years. We are not looking for hired guns, we can get them anytime. We have held back on taking a lot of gigs due to personnel issues. Re-doing a press kit sucks! The core members, Todd, EJ, Joe have been playing 30 years in the bar circuit, it doesn't pay well and you get no respect from the bars etc. These bar owners can get a band all day long for $500. The upper class shows you get great perks! These shows require discipline, perfection and everything above board.

We do not want anyone with substance abuse problems! What you do at home is your business, what you do at practice and how you handle yourself at gigs is our business. Sunset Eve members have day jobs,family's etc. Ego's must be held in check! Members must have good gear, stable and have transportation. Playing in other bands is permitted as long as it doesn't interfere with our practice and gig schedule, we come first! All members are required to sign contracts regarding rules and a management agreement.

We do take shows, these are generated from our internet marketing program and other local advertising. We currently use some hired guns but want members before we take off to the races! WE WILL NOT PROMOTE THE BAND FULLY UNTIL THE BAND IS TIGHT!

We rehearse Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm to 10pm at Action Recording Studio, these days cannot be changed. You must be able to travel to practice in Casselberry!
