ABOUT

Able to solo in jazz idiom-play over form-comp and improv- 4/4 and most odd times. Familiar with most jazz standards and able to play through real book. Also familiar and proficient with most rock/classic/bar tunes ( not preferred but more then able) proficient in funk-heavily syncopated styles and blues/Latin. Good reader. Able to play simply or complex what ever serves the music.

Professional-own equipment-on time-easy to get along with. Like to relax, have a few beers talk music and most of all PLAY and have fun.

Already in a committed Jazz/Standards band but gigs are spread out-could fit in another project. My work schedule is a bit demanding at times but with enough notice I can usually make it work. Three days off a week and willing to travel a bit for rehearsals-gigs. fast learner and do practice at home!

Would love to form a group of Jazz musicians for sessions and possibly gigs.
