ABOUT

I'm 29 and live in South Florida. I've been playing with multiple bands since high school and my most recent band has fallen on some hard times. We began playing the scene down here for a few months, but financial/job issues with my bandmates became a problem. As for me, I'm ready to go and want to try to get some people together ASAP so I can get back to playing live. I write my own material and sing. I'm not bossy about it or anything, I just enjoy the whole singer/songwriter thing after being so heavily influenced by artists like Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, and Neil Young. My last band was a 3-piece, with me playing guitar and singing, along with a bass player and drummer. I want to get back out in the clubs as soon as I can and possibly put together some demos to shop around. I have plenty of material written and I'm just looking for the right musicians to come along for the ride.

Influences

Early 90's alternative: Nirvana, Soundgarden, STP, AIC, etc. I think a lot of songs I write have a Soundgarden type feel.
Too many bands to list... everything from The Beatles and Zeppelin to System of a Down and Tool. I also have been influenced by different styles of world music and love incorporating unique scales into my riffs.

EQUIPMENT

I have everything neccessary for live performances and studio recording. I own 6 guitars, my favorites of which are my '06 American Strat and my '96 Jagstang. I use the Peavey version of the Fender tweed tube amp (50) and I have all the effects and pedal boards I'll ever need. My preferred distortion is the EH-Big Muff Pi cranked all the way up.
