(shadyfella13at) (g)(M)a(i)L
Singer\Songwriter\Guitarist with wide range of influences, looking for musicians who want to write original music for recording and performing. Playing for 30+ years, and comfy with gigs and touring.
I don't drink or abuse drugs. I am 420 friendly. I DO know how to have fun, but I keep it professional when the situation calls for it. Generally I try to solve problems for the Band, not create more.
Lately, I my influences have leaned more towards improvisation, progressive blues/rock/jazz riffs that lead into a more dynamic overall piece. Since I have been performing alone for over a year now, I recently picked up the Singular Sound tool suite (Beat Buddy, Loop Studio, Midi Maestro), and have managed to turn out some interesting music with these tools... but its not a BAND! I need HUMAN musicians to Jam with in order to create Music that emotionally captivates, or moves people...including Me.
I also started building my own Guitars about 5 years ago. I am no Luthier mind you, but I have garnered invaluable knowledge about Harmonics, Tone, Acoustics, etc and how they relate to various Instrument setups and alternate tuning. Simply knowing how to properly setup every instrument I own has vastly improved my playing.

EQUIPMENT
Behringer 200 watt portable PA, Mics, etc, Crate Palomino 16 tubes, Singular Sound tool suite, (Beat Buddy, Aeros Loop Studio, Midi Maestro),
LesPaul Junior, Les Paul Galveston Glass, Takimine Acoustic, Baby Taylor, Kramer Focus, Telecaster scrap build, Oceans11 reverb, Hot Tubes OD, Windows based Steinberg DAW studio, various acoustic and electric guitars.
I tend towards a warm creamy tone based on tubes a bit of reverb and delay. I generally use very little to color my sound with pedals. I tend to start clean and get crunchy or harmonic dynamically while I play.
I prefer to play at lower volumes because I feel it gives the band more dynamic range, and allows us to interact more intimately with the audience... but when its time to rock... there's a 10 on that knob for a reason!
