With a solid keepin’ it in the pocket approach and a groove that expresses genuine passion. He consistently brings color and a solid foundation to every song he plays. Every artist and situation he plays for he plays for the song. Earl’s trademark pocket is quickly becoming his signature.
He has played locally on the gospel scene for many years and is now expanding his horizons looking to tour and record in the mainstream genres of hip-hop, R&B, and modern rock on a national level. Earl grew up in Detroit, MI where many great musicians are birthed. Growing up in the 70’s, Earl absorbed a broad range of musical influences from jazz, r&b, hip-hop, gospel and rock. He gravitated to the drums at the early age of nine, receiving his first kit at ten. Since then he has worked tirelessly to hone his skills.
