The Diablo Sandwich Band is a 10 piece horn band that has been together since 1993.

Although we now limit ourselves to 25-30 shows / year, the core of the group has played close to 700 shows together.

We play clubs and private parties from MD to CT but 85% of the shows are in NJ and Eastern PA.

Influences:

We try to mix a little of everything into the show... everything from big band, swing, jazz, ska, reggae, new and old, 40's thru today depending on the venue.

Too much to list...

Lately we have playing out using a Carvin SL24C board mixed out to four Bose L1M1 towers. The work really well for monitors and for getting the highs out through the room clearly.. We fatten up the mids with a seperate output through a QCS PLX1602 amp powering two Yamaha S115V speakers that we just leave on the floor playing through the band. Plus in longer or wider rooms, we can remote of the BOSE towers and run wireless.

For outside shows we have a truckload of PA that we can use. For more bottom end we use a Mackie
SW1801z Compact 18" Powered Subwoofer.

On the stage, most of the band uses Seinheiser E835 mikes for vocals and most members of the group play multiple instruments.
