My name is Wayne and I have been home recording since 2007. My music is a mix of folk, punk, bluegrass, alt/rock and Latin and I will try any genre of music. All my songs were recorded, produced and mixed by me. I write and record mostly originals but do like to record my version of a cover song now and then.
I played bass and wrote songs on the acoustic guitar in my old band for close to 20 years. Life sometimes throws you a curve ball so now a few medical issues keep me from lifting my gear and being able to stand on stage for a few hours so I started focusing on learning to home record. That lead to learning how to play electric guitar and the mandolin and an attempt to try to find my lead singing vocal range as I always sang harmony in the band. I sing but I am a better back up than lead.
I play acoustic guitar, electric guitar, mandolin, bass, classical guitar, harmonica and various percussion instruments. I am most comfortable with the bass or my acoustic guitar in my hands, still learning the rest of them. Tend to do a lot of "spaghetti western" type music with a cinematic feel.
Moved to Florida recently. I am looking for other artists to collaborate with online or in person, some vocals, guitar leads, different instruments... I would be up for a jam and I can record.
I have worked online with artists all over the world; England, Sweden, US, France, Spain, the Philippines....at Looperman.com. The track Mountain features Minette from South Africa and the track "Going Home" features Vicen from Barcelona, Spain. Auld Triangle is an Irish folk song by Dominic Beham, I sing on that one. Departure is a short acoustic instrumental interlude type song.
Check me out at Looperman.com at this address to download any of my 50 songs:
Need help mixing your song or want to do a demo? Maybe I can help. I do it as a hobby, not a professional sound engineer, perfect for singer songwriter. Can't record drum kits, I use EZ Drummer, loops and live percussion.
