THE LAST EPISODE is Guitarist/Vocalist/Songwriter/Lyricist Scott LeFebvre and Bassist/Songwriter/Engineer/Producer Mark Wilkinson. We are looking for drummer and another singer/guitarist or keyboardist to make this the great band we know it is. We've got over 40 songs in various forms of demo production and live performance - 20 on this very page. Why so many songs? Because we'd like to let the music speak for itself and to give a true reflection of the scope of influence and diversity of the material so far. We have recording equipment (all the material on this page we recorded, engineered, mixed and mastered ourselves, not to mention the arrangements and performances) but no rehearsal room - we have a very good relationship with Phase One Studios in Farmingdale, and we've done really well with them. We have finished a 5-song EP called "World On Fire" (tracks 1-5; Andrew Thaler on Drums) - we're very serious and looking to take the band as far as it can go. We welcome more songwriting and lyric writing - if we like it, let's play it. Looking forward to gigs, of course, but don't want to get caught up in doing nothing gigs with no real direction and having covers end up being the focus. Rehearsals once a week are good, gig maybe once every 4-6 weeks, and eventually get into our own rehearsal space where we can perhaps rehearse more and record easier and more frequently. Go to www.myspace.com/thelastepisodeband to see the band page as it was and see photos - the page is pretty much inactive, so if you're going to contact us, please contact here. We're two easy going but motivated dudes in our mid-30's looking to get something started - there are no crazy egos here, as well as no booze or drug problems (although we're not choirboys, hard drugs and alcoholics are not tolerated) and no personal dramas. We'd like to keep it that way...
Too many to mention. Whatever's ever been good, really. We started playing in the early to mid 1980's and coming of age in the early 1990's, we grew up listening to all kinds of rock music, impartial to any kind of "musical movement" of the time. The true benefit of that comes out in the writing stage. Between the two of us, we've been into, LITERALLY, hundreds and hundreds of bands. Total music heads - and damned fucking proud of it!!
We're equipped to gig fairly loudly for where we'd be playing starting off. As mentioned before, also equipped to record ourselves - live or in the studio.
Scott LeFebvre - guitars / songs; Mark Wilkinson - bass / recordings
