The professionals is a band i started with a buddy of mine almost 3 years ago. He has since moved away and i am ready to start again from the ground up. The Professionals are to be a cover band, playing up tempo songs from punk artists and punk covers / pop punk covers from a variety of others genres. I will need two guitarists, a bass, and a drummer..i will sing lead vocals. It is important to note that members must be serious and willing to practice/ gig at least 2 to 3 days a week. I would like decent artists and friendly personalities ages from 21 to 41.
I have been singing for over 10 years mostly just for fun but im ready to get serious. My vocal style is very similar to billy coregan, screeching weasel, violent femmes and greenday. My range is good and i will change tone/quality of my voice depending on how i want to sound. ex, singing low and rich like johny cash vs. more nasal like willie nelson or billy coregan. Below is a list of songs that I would like to work on…Im assuming band members will have other ideas which is awsome...I love all types of music but my favorite has always been punk and punk influence music.
