New band. Just forming, but 1 year was the minimum choice. In the past, I have performed in a large venue... 1500+, but I am especially a very prolific songwriter. If we have to play covers for awhile, than so be it, BUT, I have a pop rock, acoustic rock, songwriting style, and intend on taking my songs eventually to "the next level". I would be open to your songs too, if you have some. I like to take the " British Invasion" / "American Response" style and modernize it a bit, and make it marketable for today's climate. But jamming is O. K. too, though no heavy metal (banging and screaming)or RAP.

Influences:

Pearl Jam to Dave Matthews, to Bowie, to early and mid 60's Beatles, Guess Who, Lefte Banke, you name it. For something a little harder... love "the Smithereens" as a good example there. Pretty eclectic I know, except for "metal" and "rap".
Basically, I love a great melody, harmony vocals in strategic spots, soulfull guitar, and a steady, "makes you want to move or sing along" style and beat.
