Drummer Dave Walker, from Pitman, NJ has been playing with talented musicians for over 40+ yrs. Starting at age 7 on rudiments and marching cadences, his first drumset came at age 12.
A former student of Philly Jazzman: Armand Santarelli, Big Band master: Mike Nigro and Rudimental instructor: Al Ipri. Respected as a very versatile "players" drummer, Dave's linear approach to timekeeping, odd time signatures, dynamics , and attention to arrangement can bring a component taking a good band or composition to the next level.
....covering all genres and possessing a huge song database , fill in drumming for working bands can be relatively seamless. Dave has also had consistent runs as a sought after session player over the last 30 yrs.
In addition to being an accomplished lead and backing vocalist, Dave has worked and recorded with many established local professionals from Delaware to NYC. and the Jersey shore since 1977.
