About
I have played in a ton of different ensembles from jazz to rock and sung in vocal ensembles. I've sung jazz, show tunes, rock, and everything in between. On the horn, I've played soprano, alto, tenor, and bari sax and own all but a bari. I have experience soloing and improv'ing over a chord progression and can improv fills and backgrounds on the fly. I just recently picked up the flute but I am comfortable covering parts on it. Vocally, I can sing lead - my range is high baritone but I wouldn't call myself a full tenor - in basically any style you please, and I can also sing harmonies pre-set or on the fly.
As far as time goes, I have a flexible schedule outside of class and I can usually make any time or date work as long as I have advance notice.
Influences
SAX: Dexter Gordon is one of my favorites but overall LeRoi Moore has to be my biggest influence. Dave Matthews Band as a whole is a huge influence on my musical tastes and my biggest aspiration is to be as versatile as they are.
VOCALS: I am a big fan of the classic baritone lounge singers - Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Wayne Newton. Freddie Mercury is also a big influence on me.
