Started playing drums at age 12. Began playing in clubs at age 16. Recorded and shared the stage with world class musicians; both secular, and gospel such as; Pete Escovedo, Shiela E., Ray Obeido, Dave Matthews, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, The Winans, Ron Kenoly, and a host of others.
I love percussion. I play many of the the traditional percussion instruments; Congas, Bongos, Timbales, Tambourine, Clave's, Triangles, an assortment of cowbells, Granite Blocks, Wind Chimes, Shakers, etc... (I love to enhance - embellish - accent) I like to think of myself as the seasoning on your food. "I'm not the main dish - but when you add me to the mix, your food comes alive!!! If I'm not there you'll know something's missing."
I also play drums. Currently do not have a drum set - but when I do play, I am definately a pocket drummer who loves to feel the groove. Nice and solid, but not a show-off.
