The Haven Effect is an alternative/ambient rock band based in Grand Junction Colorado. We have played multiple gigs throughout Western Colorado, the next being at The Rockslide on May 7th. WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING A LEAD GUITARIST as of 4-23-2011. If you can carry a vocal tune, that helps too but it's not needed.

Influences

Well I'm personally trying to figure out whom we best sound like. I personally have been influenced by so many musicians in my life. First and foremost I gotta give props to Michael Jackson for my childhood listening ears. I remember lip singing many of his songs growing up. Along the way I became a huge fan of many different artists from many genres. Way too many to list here. One of my all time favorite bands would be Linkin Park.

EQUIPMENT

We have a full PA system setup at our warehouse. Thank you Gabe for your support of not only being a member of this great group of friends and band but also your hospitality in this adventure. Honestly, this has to be the best place to practice in the grand valley, hands down. Plenty of room, great acoustics for the most part and a great place to relax and chill during breaks.
