"The Jim Ivins Band brings a unique brand of acoustic driven pop rock that is accessible to all. Since their start in 2007, they have shared the stage with national acts such as Mae, Carolina Liar, Liar, The Ataris, and Parachute. After spending a year promoting their full-length album “99¢ Dreams,” they stepped back into the studio with Ace Enders of The Early November and producer Chris Badami to debut their newest EP, “Back To Reality”. The Jim Ivins Band is a Virginia-based radio-friendly acoustic pop band with honest lyrics that are sure to relate to every listener."

I (Jim) am trying to take this band to the next level and with college and other life plans that affect the other members of the band, some or all of them can't play nearly as many shows as I would like to. I myself am taking some time off from school and am looking for people to be able to play whenever possible. It may start out as a fill-in kind of thing but most likely will turn in to something more permanent.
