This is a band that my friend and I re starting. The name John Boys isn't written in stone but it's a start. We are from San Antonio/Seguin and surrounding small towns... These were our stomping grounds. And we want our music to reflect that. Right now the set list is about 60% covers to 40% original songs.

Influences

Our influences are drawn from almost every direction of music. But if we had to pick a few it would be Dwight Yoakum, George Strait, Tim McGraw, Bart Crow Band, Bleu Edminson, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith and pretty much any other country artist that you would expect to hear when you want to have a good time...

Equipment List

We currently have very little equipment so anything that you can bring is a huge plus! But again. We are looking for a person (guy or girl) who can throw down some awesome lead guitar and sing back up and most of all be someone we want around.

We are starting from scratch and building our way up.

We are looking for a Lead player who can throw down with us acoustically for a while until we build up our fan base and equipment. Also to contribute to the originals. We will have studio time coming up :) But most importantly... You have to be cool and easy to get along with. Guy or girl . we don't care but we are going to ask you to join our family so please... no douches or dicks lol
