im gonna be 23 in july, im living right next to the stadium in columbia, and am looking to jam, start an original band, or join a cover band so we can play some shows this summer.

i was into jazz percussion and took it real seriously before i transferred here in fall of 06, but dont get to practice as much as i want anymore, so im rusty but i can still pick up sticks and rock im just not as good as i used to be, but it comes back pretty quick, like a few jams and im back up to performing condition.

Influences:

john bonham is the reason i started playing, stuart copeland (the police) and the drummers from sublime and alice in chains all helped me expand from just rock into funkier beats using two hands on the hi-hat.

Equipment List:

yamaha stage custom, fusion sized (faded amber color looks like gamecock colors) DW 5000 double bass (im not too big into double bass but its fun and sounds good when appropriate or during big fills)
Zildjian cymbals

basically i have a lower-end studio kit, great for live shows, very nice. i like to mess with cowbell (can make real cool beats with em) a tamborine ontop of my hihat, and some brushes, just to keep some variety.
