The Seekers is a group of six excellent vocalists and one beatboxer/vocal percussionist who perform a cappella covers (that’s right, no instruments!) of Top 40 rock/pop songs.
The Seekers is not your average choir – we are a one-on-a-mic/one-on-a-part group, we practice and perform on mic. We use electronic effects such as octave pedals, distortion and looping pedals in our set to really push the envelope of what vocal music is capable of.
We focus on the rock and roll side of pop like groups such as Paramore, The Killers and Fall Out Boy. Long term plans include recording an album (we have access to a recording studio) and perform at some of the National A Cappella Festivals.
