We all have varied influences. Just a few of those: Slowdive, Travis, Radiohead, Rush, Patrick O'Hearn, Pilot Speed, Elbow, Budapest, Tool, Stereophonics, Thirteen Senses, U2, Doves etc.
We don't expect anyone that comes into the band to necessarily have the same influences. Variety is the spice of life after all.
