Looking for:
-A singer with the stage presence of Damon Albarn, lyricism of Morrissey, and fashion sense of Jarvis Cocker
-A bassist that listened to too much Interpol, Joy Division, and New Order
-A drummer with a snare heavy style, similar to The National
Must be okay with maintaining a consistent image in album design/general aestheticism. The singer doesn't need to play any instruments.
I'd like for the singer to be capable of writing politically-charged lyrics. Morrissey often wrote about his distaste with the British monarchy and Thatcher, and with Trump's election, I think the time is right for politics to come back into pop.
*(Alternatively, if you need a short-term guitarist for your dreampop/shoegaze/indie/what-fu*king-ever project, I'm your guy!)
I've played guitar for about 5 years. I have live experience playing with my church, and I'm currently gaining experience as a sound tech. I have my own gear and a caveman home studio to record rough demos.
Please be within my age range (18-24).
I'm pursuing music very seriously as a career, so please share the same ambition/drive.
