The Thomas Michaels Band was formed in the summer of 2009, around recently signed artist Thomas Michaels. Each member of the Thomas Michaels Band comes from a background of skill, and performance stretching from all levels of the music industry. Thomas started as a country artist about 12 years ago, then moved into Southern Gospel as the lead singer of the popular Southern Gospel Quartet "The Calvary Echoes". In 2007, Thomas left the Echoes for a solo career in music ministry. Female harmony/lead vocalist Leandra Lechtenberg hails from the small Western Kansas town of Leoti. Her experience as a vocalist took her on a world tour with a mass US choir. Her angelic voice is truly unmatched in the industry. Guitarist Clif Blake is an amazing guitarist out of Tennessee. His experience has been with everything from hardcore heavy metal, to soft praise band, and everything in between. Clif also was a Youth minister in Tennessee. We are excited to announce the addition of our new drummer Matt Clare. He hails from a 2 year stint with the popular rock band Skrapyard. He was recently led to us by God, and we are truly blessed to have him. His talent is amazing. He has been playing drums professionally since early childhood (starting at the tender age of 4) with his family band.
