Influences
I study the music of West Africa, India, Brazil, Cuba.
The varieties of music I listen to and focus my absorbing of information is a very LARGE range. I can trace my fascinations all the way back to The Guess Who, Chuck Mangione, Neil Diamond, 70's R& B, Herb Alpert and Tiujana Brass, 101 Spanish Strings, Broadway musicals.....these were the things my parents and siblings had around the household.
WHen I stepped into my own frame of mind I found Kiss, Aerosmith, Journey, Yes, King Crimson, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Frank Zappa, Ozzy Osnourne, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Rush, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Chic Corea,.....seriously....to inventory my influences through my living history and I'll sit here for HOURS!!!!
I did spend time in music school and achieved a Bachelor's and Master's degree. Lots of classical training and world music training!!!

Lick the Taint
Lick the Taint Track number: 1 Year: 2006 Album: Black Album #2 Genre: Metal
G. Rad. (Spooky Beats) and Taint Master J collaborate to create this combination of riffs between bass guitar and drumset. I (Spooky Beats) am the conjuror of the rhythmic motif. Taint Master J is the subject of my suggestions for what to play in relationship to the drumset creation. He is the one who finds the notes on bass guitar. Chainsaw Mike is the other guitar player you here. This was recording in a jam/rehearsal studio for the band called Lower Life. The mics were turned on to carpture an idea that has now formed into a rather cohesive, full-length, metal song!!!
