I am a recently retired school teacher with a lot of time on my hands. I have been playing guitar for over 40 years after a fireworks accident left me legally blind. As a result, I don't drive. However, I have managed all these years to get everywhere I needed to go one way or another. I am married with three children. I was in a classic rock band for 12 years that consisted of all school teachers. We were fortunate enough to be the opening band for such artists as Dion, The Platters and Drifters, America, and Orleans.
I finally have the time to really devote myself fully to music. I am someone who does his homework and comes to practice prepared to play. I can sing some lead but Iam much more comfortable with the high harmonies.

Eric Clapton, Dickey Betts, SRV, George Harrison, and many other guitarists. I love the music of Delbert McClinton, The Band, CSN, The Beatles, and many others.
EQUIPMENT
Three Fender Strats, a Telecaster, a Martin D28, and a Fender Ultra Chorus amp. I have a few stomp boxes and a wah wah pedal.
