ABOUT

Let’s try this again. Damned coronavirus stopped me from meeting and working with anyone. I’m sure it’s been frustrating for everybody. It’s time to try again. If you answered this before and you are still interested hit me up again

I am a 56 year old bass player and Here's what I'm looking for and most important what you will be getting.

I took up playing on a whim at 45 to try to live out my unfulfilled teenage rock star dreams. Have I succeeded? Sorta. I've been a member of a band for the past 4 years with 4 CD's under my belt. I never made any money, but I didn't really care. I just wanted to have FUN. Other members saw our mission differently.

What I want is something low pressure, easy going and fun. Don't need to play in bars or clubs(would be nice). I'm not into egos, or pressure. I just want to jam, learn and enjoy myself making music.

If you are hoping to get the next Entwhistle or Geezer Butler you have the wrong guy. I'm probably closer to DeeDee Ramone or God forbid Sid Vicious. I can figure out where I'm going if I have chords or tabs. I can't read music. I've played originals and covers. Some AC/DC, Neil Young, the Dead, Johnny Cash, Hendrix etc. I'm willing to learn and work at playing well and getting better. Some of my favorite players are Steve Harris, Ian Hill, Cliff Williams and of course LEMMY!!

Is this of interest to you? Is this the kind of situation you have or want? If you think I'd be a good fit, let me know and we can see if I fit.
