Ok, so, What do I tell you? I've played guitar for about 20 years, mostly alternative stuff, but I wanna do more. I do play quite a few covers right now, and have written a few of my own tunes, but not many.

Influences
Kurt Cobain was the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place, so his music is very near and dear to my heart. Other influences would include Ozzy, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dio, on the classic rock side and a little old Metallica, Slipknot, Tool, NIN, System of a Down, Type O Negative, Green Day, Poison, Motley Crue, Godsmack, Foo Fighters, and maybe a little bit of The Cure. These are just a short list of my many influences, there is really so much more.

EQUIPMENT
At this point in time, my best guitar is my Ibanez GSA 60. I also have an Ibanez acoustic electric, an Ibanez GAX 70, and a Fender knockoff that I think is a Karera, or something like that. And last on the list, but not least on the list, I own three acoustics. For amps, I'm a little embarrassed to say, I only have two 15 or 20 watt practice amps. I actually use my home stereo as my main amp, using a splitter and some rca cables to connect. It actually sounds really good, given the quality of the connecting equipment. I have a small selection of pedals, a chorus, a vibrator, a few distortions, an overdrive, and a Digitech RP80 modeling guitar processor. I do have plans in the near future to go out and pick myself up a halfstack, as long as I can convince the wife that I need it.
