My highest interest in music is recording production.

My mother was the late Helen Keane, manager and producer of Bill Evans, Art Farmer and many others.

I have built a patent-pending live music distribution system, www.livecut.com: Concertgoers buy recordings from the concerts they see with their cell phones.

I would like to develop my performing skills to appreciate firsthand the creative process, hence become a better producer. I welcome the routine of regular practice to make rehearsals productive.

Influences:

My core interests lie in the American musical forms: Blues, "melodic Rock", Alternative Rock, Jazz, Folk. I am a casual Classical listener. I look for emotional aspiration in music, something that calls out how I feel, or have felt, or would like to feel.
