Hi there, I'm a singer and I want to either join or form a cover band playing classic rock from the 70's/80's and 90's. Some of todays music is cool too. I've been singing my whole life but have really gotten serious about it for the past year or so. I'm looking for musicians that are dedicated to their art and want to do local gigs here in Utah and the surrounding states. I would also love to collaborate in coming up with originals too.

My main vision is being with musicians that are willing to work together to form a tight unit in music and friendship that want to work hard in perfecting our sound. I'm very dedicated to this and am looking for others that are too.

I'm also alcohol/drug free. I'm looking for committed musicians only, if you're not committed to making great music, no need to apply to this ad. I would like to rehearse 3 to 4 times a week and get ready to do local gigs on a regular bases.

Journey, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Heart, Pat Benatar, Van Halen.

I also like some heavy metal too, like Poison, Motley Crue, Metallica, Slaughter, and really any hair bands of the 80's. I love that sound and sure wish it would come back! :-) I'm not apposed to doing current music, as long as it's not death metal, or the screaming guttle stuff.

The current bands that I really love are Nickelback, Puddle of Mud, Alice in Chains, Default, Breaking Benjamin, Jane's Addiction, Collective Soul, and King's X.

I'm not into country music at all. Sorry. I've tried to get into it before and just can't do it. It's not my thing. I'm a rocker girl and always will be. :)

Equipment List:

I have a wireless mic system, and a small guitar amp. I also am learning to play drums and have a Yamaha 5 piece drum kit.
