Is this thing on?
I am not expecting to join or form a working band, mostly because I'm not sure I can meet the time commitments. But I'm open-minded.
I play acoustic and electric guitar - mostly blues, jazz and rock. While I can improvise and play lead, I am primarily a rhythm player. My ideal band would be something along the lines of the Asylum Street Spankers or Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks on the acoustic side. Electric-wise, I'm open to suggestions along the lines of Soulive and Gov't Mule. But really, just about anything.
Influences
My earliest influences were the Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker and other southern rock artists but as a student of Steve Greene I've been exposed to jazz and blues artists like Charlie Christian, Django Reinhardt, T-Bone Walker and more.

I also have a Yahmaha classical, a Univox Les Paul copy set up for slide and an off-brand flat top acoustic. My amp is a Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe clone. Crybaby, boost/overdrive, phaser, compressor/ring modulator and envelope filter pedals.
