Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.ABOUT
Been playing/touring/teaching for 30-ish years. Have many diverse tastes, and influences. I've done metal, praise and worship, duo acoustic gigs, straight ahead jazz, LOTS of R&B and funk, a lot of country, current rock, and so on. Have reading (notes and tab) and and have arranged for big bands, vocalists, small groups, etc. Background vocals, and some lead. I've done studio work, and have the ability to do recordings remotely. I'm in a comfortable working situation, but I enjoy meeting like-minded individuals with pocket, abilities, ambition, and good attitudes. I enjoy playing just about anything as long as there is an end result. From John Scofield modern funk/fusion to progressive rock or 1 chord James Brown jams all night, got it covered. I can do pick up gigs, sessions, recordings, what have you.
Please, PLEASE, don't ask me to 'quit my job because you're going to 'make it'', I already play professionally and make a very good living at it. I'd like to just get out and play for fun with some cool people, and earn a little bit of money without any kind of headaches.
My disclaimer: I am playing/touring professionally. I'm always busy, and can only do pick-up gigs here and there. I built this profile for that purpose as well as getting students.
