i have sang lead vocals for various rock bands in eastern ia. for 44 years and still have a very powerful voice with deep roots in classic rock from the beatles,elvis, led zepp,ozzy, david bowie, deep purple, and my favorite from the past in uriah heep. i have to many favorites to list cause i enjoy all rock, southern rock,esp. allman bros. and any blues. i started singing at 5 yrs. old and professionally at 14 yrs. old with the explosion of the beatles,doors,and ozzy.i moved to san fran. in 1970 and sang for t.c.led playing in the bay area battle of bands in 1974 against 200 bands from all over beating the likes of a young sammy hager,ronnie montrose and other great san fran musicians.they all compared my voice at the time to ian gillan of deep purple fame. i was able to hit every octave plus in my younger days. i truly enjoy four part harmonies like uriah heep,eagles,journey,etc.etc. i still have a very powerful voice and stage presence and know how to play a crowd from young to old.i am retired and open to create a group with a keyboard player,lead and base guitar and powerful drummer. i have high expectations of myself and the band members. i'm real laid back and easy gouig and still like to party but the partying is secondary when practicing and playing live. i am a team player and very loyal but not naive.the band is only as good as its parts.members must have mutual respect and be very dedicated to be succesful.oh yeah i love jeff becks old bands like beck,bogart,and appice.listen to jeff beck cd called jeff beck and you'll know what i really have roots in. e-mail me at tdvee at.or call 563-263-1655 i'll auditioh over the phone if need be. i still have to insert some video and audio when i get more accustome to my p.c.
