My Name is Rob Snell and I have been workin on original Country, Blues, Hard Rock and Southern Rock Christian music for over 20 years. Yeah, I played the bar scene in the past and will never go to that waste of life crap again. I play lead and rythem guitar, drums, sing, bass, and harmonica. I already have a large set to work with including a 7 song cd demo recently cut. I am very passionate about outreach music as well as some worship music, and all for the glory of God. Not all of my music has the Name Jesus or God in it. A lot of the songs I have written have to do with real life issues like fun livin' bbqs, hangin at the river, relationships good or bad, the results of uncontrolled rage, overcoming giant obstacles and the respect for human life. I am looking for those that have a heart to be totally sold out to Jesus and totally committed to a true calling in the music outreach Ministry Industry and won't be afraid to travel and that really loves music.
I have been in several bands in the last 20 years including a Christian Metal band from 87'-90' called Rude Awakening. We played on the Sunset Strip in Cali, at the Metal Meltdown festivals at Fontana HS Auditorium, out door theater in Hemmet Ca, The Starry Night Club, the Pine St. Theatre, Satyricon all in Port, OR., and the Far Side in North Seattle WA.
That was then and God had other plans. I totally love the Blues, Grindy hard rock blues, Country, Rippin' Southern Rock and Worship music, although I am not like the majority of Watered down Milktoast Christian bands there are out today. I love my family in Christ, Don't get me wrong, I just can't stand KLOVE and all that junk they call good music. At this point, o'l ugly comes up with better music. God is the source of all things and if thats the case, we can come up with better music than anything any secular band has to offer, we just got to work harder at it and really trust in What God can do through us, not what we can do for God. Any Way, Do I sound Preachy!?!!? GOOD!!!! I ain't ashamed of it either. I am one of the very few Solid Christians that are out of the Closet!!!!! And I am coming through like a RUNAWAY FREIGHT TRAIN!!!!!.
