Tower of Silence + Band in Cincinnati, OH

ABOUT

Tower of Silence is about 9 years in the making and became a full fledged band in January of 2008. We've been performing live shows for 2 years throughout Cincinnati. We've done a small bit of traveling including a trip to Germany for a gig. We hope to begin touring in 2011. We dont take ourselves too seriously as individuals, however, we are serious about the future of ToS. We treat this band like a business and our goal is to turn this into a full time career. That said, there are financial obligations. Each member pays there equal share for all "band needs" ie. merch, rent, equipment, ect. Each member is responsible for his/her own equipment. All money made by the band from merch or performance goes back into the band. We have recorded a 5 song EP available on all the major download sites ie. iTunes, Amazon, Limewire, ect. as well as in a professionally manufactured physical CD. We have also begun recording a full length album. We also recently organized and presented Westside Rockfest, .westsiderockfest, an all local music festival which we plan on doing annually. Ultimately we aren't in the band for fame and glory, we simply love music, esspecialy ours.

Practice makes perfect! Our normal practice rutine consists of 2-3 times a week for about 2-3 hours begining at 11pm ~ yep 11pm! This is due to work schedules. We do hold practices earlier when we're able and on occation practices have run until 5am. Practice time is practice time, not party time. We're there to work. That said the flow of practice is laid back, there is very little arguing. We do have our "party time".
