ABOUT

I'm following through with a project I've wanted to get going. I would like to find a group of Acoustic players to get together and jam with. Just a laid back good time with no attitudes In the end, I'd like to end up with a core group who want to get together to enjoy good tunes, good times, Play out on occasion.

I'd be very happy if NO DRUGGIES or hard core drinkers answered this. Now, please understand I've no problems with a few beers or an occasional snort or two of your favorite jug. But when folks get truly drunk the attitudes come out and things typically go down hill from there. So, what say we avoid the drama and just enjoy the music?

All comers, all emails answered. Drop a note with your name & location, tell us about you & what you play & what music you like. Lets just have some fun! fxstc1 at

Past Events

Hey! I live in Slidell and am looking to start getting an afternoon Acoustic Jam session going in Heritage Park. Nothing real tough, just a chance for some folks to get together, play some music and learn from our peers by example. Due to the setting & lack of electric I would say acoustic would be best, Singers, Harmonica players, Guitar, Upright Bass, Banjo, fiddle, guitar, dobro, whatever you got..bring it on!

Things are set for today to start at 2:00. Lets keep this going Every Sunday. Here is a bing map link fr everyone to get directions to heritage park at 1701 Bayou Ln, Slidell, LA 70458.
