I'm mainly a lap steel guy (look ma, no pedals!), but have played some dobro for the last two years, and I sing good backup. I'm looking to play out more; some overnights OK, but I prefer local gigs. Give me warning of any key modulations, and I can usually contribute to whatever's playing. I'm also a listener who knows when to lay out. I've been playing lap steel in Richmond since The Shiners, 2001.
