I know, Bossa Nova is a bit schmaltzy -- classic elevator -- but I really like it because of the opportunity for improvisation -- it's really conducive to stretching out and searching -- very spacious chords.

The dream is to get with an all original group where I can improvise all the time.

It's super soft and restrained. I can be louder, but the sax I play is a C tenor (C Melody) and they were made for softer, sweeter sounds.
