42 y.o. guitarist seeks bassist, drummer, keys and vocalists.

I'd like to keep it casual at first, but if we click, maybe work towards doing some small gigs.

A regular cover band commitment is what I am ultimately looking for but I am open to everything.

I have a pretty flexible work schedule.

I've been a musician since I was 9 (low brass) but have only been playing guitar for 5.5 years.

I consider myself a rythym guitar player, but I am definitely into doing some lead work. I can play bass passably as well.

My friend Symon (blond guy in profile pic. http://symonmusic.com/home.html ) invites me to sit in on his solo gig occasionally, and it's always a blast.

I have a limited vocal range, but I am willing to give it a try.

I have an air conditioned rehearsal space (half of my 3 car garage) in Golden Gate Estates. In addition to way too much guitar gear, I have some rudimentary recording and PA gear, certainly enough to get us up and running....

Influences:

My main influences are British classic rock, but like it all: The Who, Stones, Beatles, Zeppelin, Queen, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, Foghat, The Cars, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Pink Floyd, Skynyrd, Cheap Trick etc etc etc...... I am open minded and willing to play anything that rocks......
