After taking a short 30 year hiatus, I have resumed drumming my head off since January 2, 2009. Playing every day and studying and practicing like nobody's business. Seems to be working quite well.
As a teen took formal lessons and played in school orchestra, stage (jazz) band as well as high school marching band. Also formed and provided the pulse for the world famous "Black Mountain Railroad" band that played a long winded summer tour in Hudson County, New Jersey circa 1977. I also have a reasonable sense of humor and don't take myself too seriously if you haven't noticed.
I / We are looking for a lead guitar or keyboard / vocalist to join a trio(me/bass/rhythm guitar) of blues/classic rock/original music group of guys looking to start getting more organized. If we find someone who can help take us to an initial performing level with reasonable and realistic goals, all the better but we're open to all kinds of experience. Though serious about music we are very easy going and there are NO ego's to suffer. Our philosophy is that we all learn more and get better with every experience.
I also would VERY much welcome casual jam sessions.
