I'm a vocalist looking to join and/or form a death metal band. I've been in several different bands. I have quite a bit of studio experience as well as live show experience also. I was the original vocalist for Obliteration/Death List. I was also the vocalist of Veil of Suffering. I've shared the stage with Broken Flesh, Suffocation, Napalm Death, Obituary, Skinlab, Neviah Nevi, Living Sacrifice, Extol, Embodyment (Now called The Famine), Soul Embraced and a whole lot more.

I am a christian and write about my faith. I'm preferably looking for christian musicians that want to play heavy brutal music, but if you're not a christian, that's cool too. Just as long as you don't have a problem with the lyrical content and subject matter of that which I write about.

You must be able to practice at least 2 times a week and possibly 3 times a week. You must be able to play shows frequently even if it means a little bit of traveling. My goal is to be able to eventually tour... even if they're small mini-tours and then take things as they come from that point. I want to take this as far as I can.

Must have your own equipment and transportation. No drug users or ego-maniacs. I don't have a problem with smoking (cigarettes, that is), because I'm a smoker myself. I'm not looking for perfect people. I'm just looking for good, talented, and skilled musicians that live life the best they can and strive to be good and decent human beings. Musically, the above bands are kinda what I'm aiming for. Vocally, however, I would implement more of a traditional death metal style of vocals with low and mid-range growls and a few screams every now and then. I'm not a big fan of the high, raspy/shrieking vocal style. I'm also not a fan of pig squeal vocals either. Please check out the above bands. My influences range from the likes of Living Sacrifice, Extol, Demon Hunter, Project 86, Killswitch Engage, With Blood Comes Cleansing, The Famine, A Plea For Purging, Stavesacre, Embodyment (when they were brutal AND when they were just a regular metal band), Saviour Machine, Sanctum, Celldweller, old school Mortification (when they were death metal), Klank, Circle of Dust, Believer, Betrayal, and Sacrament, to Focused, Six Feet Deep, Tourniquet, VAST, The Cure, Tool, and A Perfect Circle.
