Hey guys,
We are Versus Angels from Charleston, South Carolina. We're currently a 3-piece looking for a solid drummer to finish our lineup. Right now, Versus Angels is : Tony (Rhythm Guitar and vocals), Shaun (Lead Guitar) and Seth (Bass). The three of us are ex-members of Friends For Hire. In the 4 years of our past band, we built up an extensive contacts list by doing everything on our own, including: self releasing albums, touring, and promotion. We're continuing on with this band with our contacts list. We are currently wrapping up in the studio right now where we have recorded 4 demos to send out to our contacts and use to potentially find a drummer. Interested drummers will need to record a video of he or she playing to the song for us (unless you live close enough to come tryout in person first).
Here's what we're looking for:
Drummer
Ages 18-28
Have the "rock image". By that I mean you know how to take care of yourself and look good.
Preferably tour experience but at least a lot of show experience.
Professional equipment. (or willing/able to upgrade) non-cracked cymbals, extra sticks. you know the drill.
Professional Attitude. (This is going to be your career. We've all worked really hard and we expect you to come and put in just as much effort.)
No Egos. I say this because when we're writing, we often times hear the whole thing in our heads and might have a set pattern we'd like you to play. So sometimes, "your beat might not be what we want you to play there."
Charleston, South Carolina area or willing to relocate.
Two of us have relocated from other states to be in our previous band.
No strings attached.
We need someone that's open to drop everything for this. Music is our lives. We've made hundreds of sacrifices because we love what we do. If you share this same dedication and determination, then you'll definitely get along with us!
