I've played guitar since I was 13, but upright bass was my first band/orchestra type instrument. Being the only bass player in a 50 mile radius back home in Long Island, I played orchestras, pit bands, jazz bands, folk music, etc.
I grew up and played music with Jay Beckenstien of Spyrogyra.
