RUSTY BUMPER AND THE CADILLACS (temporary band name)

Retired, lead/rhythm mid-60's guitarist seeking like-minded players who are looking to start a small group for reasons other than just to get out of the house, or to play in bars. Need vocalist/guitarists who might be interested in working up some 50's through 80's classic rock and roll covers. Sample sets might include songs by groups such as: THE VENTURES, CREEDENCE CLEARWATER, SKYNYRD, THE EAGLES, JOHNNY RIVERS, BOB SEGER , VAN MORRISON, maybe even some ELVIS AND RICK NELSON, just to name a few. It might also be nice to work out certain songs that other groups won't or can't play. Strictly Rock & Roll format, very, very little Country, no Red Dirt, no Heavy Metal, no Hard Rock, Rockabilly, or someone who only wants to use the group as a vehicle for their own "original" music.

Let me mention that this would be MOSTLY for fun, but that doesn't mean, however, that we wouldn't consider playing some special gigs, like corporate functions, private parties, lounge work or concert style once or twice a month if things happen to pan out later on and everyone agrees. Main thing is to just kick back, have some fun, and make some good music.

So, if you don't mind jamming a little and you want to have some fun, try something new, make some dependable friends, play some good music, and maybe even earn a little Twinkie money, climb aboard or send me an email and let's see what we can come up with.
