About

The Silver Edge Band is looking for Bass, Rhythm and Drum players. We are looking for a dedicated few who can play modern and classic hits in the Rock / Alternative scenes.

VirtuRock Productions has formed Silver Edge and is looking to gig out sometime in the next year or so once a set list has been established. We will be playing mainly upbeat titles of whatever works for the team.

We believe in working as a team and making sure everyone is having fun! In time we may develop our own songs as well. Practice takes place in a 4,000 sq ft. building pumped full of some pretty nice gear and a relaxing atmosphere. Band members range in age from 21-60 and anyone over 21 will be considered. We are of course looking for great players but what is more important is the teams attitude. Again, we want this to be a fun experience so drama is out!

It works best if members of the band are within relatively short driving distance to Sheboygan as we do practice each week mainly on the weekends or Thursdays.

Sound

4 + different sound systems to produce accurate performances for everything from small bars to large outdoor concerts.

200 - 4,000+ Watt enclosures, monitors, amps and subs.

Professional digital mixing and recording of live performances are included in every show. We will make you a copy of your performance and can help you with demo tracks and marketing that will surely help book more shows!

Lighting

DMX computer controlled light shows with many LED lighting effects, cans, spots, fog and equipment not seen in many local shows.

10'x10'x10' lightweight lighting truss and stage for mobile shows wherever you may need them.

Power

We have 3 generators with enough power for any show in any location. Generators have built in sound and EcoThrottleTM (load dependent operation) control and run at a max of 58db under full load! People want to hear the music, not the generators!

Eco-Throttle - Runs up to 20 hours on 3.4 gals of fuel

Advanced inverter technology provides reliable power to computers and other sensitive equipment

All power is regulated and clean via our inline monitoring and surge protector’s regardless of indoor or outdoor shows.

Stage and Travel Accommodations

10'x10'x10' Lighting and equipment truss with 2 foot high stage platform

Both if these next two units come with full assistance, Custom 1 ton pickup with aftermarket lighting, strobes and ground effects.

Flatbed stage approx. 38' long 4' high 8' wide. Has a custom built gooseneck platform for drums or to highlight a performer!

42' Fully Equipped Cyclone toy hauler RV - for the ultimate in luxury this unit has a dropdown stage in the rear with garage for equipment, 2 showers and 2 bathrooms. Ideal for hosting weekend shows where needing private dressing rooms and sleeping quarters are a must. Unit has air, heat, kitchen, big screen TV and sleeping for 8 - 15 people. We will set this unit up and make it performance ready according to your production needs.

We also have two 24' enclosed extended roof v nose trailers with air, heat, awnings, ramps / stage. One also has a viewing platform on top but it's not really big enough for a full band. These trailers are designed to carry all the equipment (yours and ours) and will be towed by our experienced team.
